Rehearsal Dinner in Boston?

My future parents-in-law are coming out this weekend to look at RD spots in the city.  Any last minute suggestions?  Needs to accommodate ~70 people so it can't be a tiny hole-in-the-wall place (much as I love those).

Also, what are your thoughts on the menu for a rehearsal dinner?  Since we're having chicken/steak for the wedding, I kindof want to avoid it the night before.  Would Italian be completely strange for the RD?

I had a work party at Lucia on Hanover St.  We had the entire downstairs to ourselves and it was very intimate.  I'm sure there are other North End options, but don't have any private party personal recs.

I'm just shocked that you are having 70 guests at your RD!

I knooww don't get me started on the size of it.  FMIL's inviting all her brothers and sisters (6) and their families.

In my perfect world it would just be my immediate family, FI's immediate family, and our wedding party.  But what say do I have?  They're viewing this as their event.

We are having our RD at Fiore on Hanover St. in the North End.  They have a great upstairs room that fits up to 70 people I believe. The room has windows that open up onto Hanover St. and their roof deck is right next to this room.
My future in laws are handling the details but I think it is pretty reasonable. I know they had multiple options for different dinners.

We had ours at Anthony's Pier 4 and I highly recommend it!  The food was great, the view was beautiful, they took care of all of the centerpieces, and my MIL really enjoyed dealing with them and I believe it was fairly cost effective - at least compared to her original idea of Morton's.  We had a buffet style and I don't quite remember all the options but we had a vegetarian option as well because I am a vegetarian and it was a pasta and it was great.
