So here are my vendor reviews from our wedding last Friday. I just wanted to thank all the Knottie brides for their recommendations and help with the process. My hubby and I became engaged on January 8th and were married this past Friday. Whirlwind!!!
Limo - We had a limo pick us up from the airport, and then take us to the courthouse and hotel. I think this was Presidential Limo. This was a fun way to get around Vegas and set the vibe for the rest of the day and weekend. But was it worth $200? Eh. I'd probably still do it again. I'll update with the name of the company if it wasn't Presidential. Overall Grade: B+ (strictly because of the cost).
Wynn Hotel (Tower Suites): This hotel was absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing time here. I completely recommend the Tower Suites which has a private check-in. Love, love, love this hotel. Overall Grade: A+
Wynn Wedding Salon: We were married in the Lilac Room. It was beautiful. Our coordinator, Becky, was great. Everything moved smoothly. No complaints at all. I made several changes to the wedding package in the weeks leading up to the ceremony, and Becky was gracious and accomodating. We had the Memories ceremony package. My bouquet was gorgeous. Overall Grade: A+
Cashman Photography: Overall the photos were beautiful, but pricey!! I got my photos on the grounds, which is what I wanted, but there were some photo ops that our photographer missed. For example, there were no photos of my hubby with my family, specifically my mom. Our photographer, Joan, showed up late, but stayed later so we had our full amount of time. We had 157 photos to choose from, and while some weren't so great composition-wise, there really were some beautiful shots. I'll attach a link at the bottom of this message. Overall grade: A-
Francesca Lombardo: Is there something higher than an A+? She deserves it. She made me feel beautiful, the make-up and hair were amazing and she is such a sweet person. I honestly could not recommend her more highly. I wish she could do my hair and make-up every day. My hair looked amazing 2 days(!!!) after the ceremony. The make-up lasted well into the following evening. She gives you touch up make-up and lipstick. Overall grade: A+++
Reception @ Canaletto: I was a little worried about Canaletto because it took them awhile to get back to me when I first tried to book them for the reception. I loved their food from previous trips to Vegas, and they are very reasonable. Totally worth my persistence. Food was fabulous, waitstaff attentive and gracious, room was beautiful overlooking St. Mark's Square at the Venetian. Loved it. Only negative comment is that they charged the food and bar tab separately which triggered a fraud alert on my credit card. No biggie though. Overall grade: A
Cake from Freed's: Delicious. Delicious. Loved it. We had the Apple Blossom cake (beautiful). It is covered in white fondant with buttercream frosting underneath, white cake and strawberry puree with bavarian cream filling. Delicious. Highly recommend them. So easy to work with. Grade: A+
Other comments: We had a great time doing karaoke at the Imperial Place, the Carnavale Bar was a blast and the Okada restaurant at the Wynn is fantastic. There's a private deck area overlooking the waterfalls at the Wynn just off of the main registration desk. Find this place and enjoy it. It was beautiful, relaxing, cozy and a great place to enjoy visiting with family and friends.
Our experience was wonderful, romantic and absolutely perfect. I really have no negative comments or experiences.
