Should I bedazzle them?

My shoes are in.

There were two styles, one with swarovski heels, and the other without. I went with the ones that didn't have them, figuring I'd do it myself, if I want them done.
Here are my shoes, from the website, but with the crystal heels (these are dyed beige)




Here are my shoes, dyed red-




And here are swarovski shoes I made for another wedding, (just so you know I know how to do this well, and I already HAVE the crystals)



So, do you think I should bling them out, or is less more?

    To be honest, I am not a fan of that last pair of shoes. They look gaudy. But if you do just the heel of the red ones, go for it.

    Oh no! I'm just talking about doing the heels ONLY- the toe box has a really pretty rhinestone buckle (making them wide enough for my nightmare feet).

    So, it'd just be the heels, as seen in the pic of the beige shoes!

    The bottom pic isn't the best. I have arthritis in my feet, which are an EE width- I did the swarovskis on a pair of pretty ugly wide width clarkes.

    I am in love with red shoes in general, and those are  absolutely GORGEOUS!

    I think they would be even more amazing if you bedazzled the heck outta the heels! 

    (Disclaimer: I kind of have a thing for bling, too. So I'm probably biased.)

    I say bedazzle them! Though they are beautiful, I think "plain" red they look a little too ... bridesmaid-y. The blinged out heel would give them that extra bump to dazzling bride.

    I was JUST thinking about doing this today. How would I go about getting the crystals and adhesive for them?

    I'm doing well, thanks! 4 months to go now, and it's starting to get busier, planning-wise!

    So, the adhesive I've used before is E-6000. You'll need flat back swarovskis (not hot fix), of a couple of different sizes, and a wax pick- basically a toothpick with a ball of wax to pick up the crystals. I like to use an orange stick to spread the glue, and you'll want a tray for the crystals, as well.
    I buy them in bulk for these projects, as they're expensive and bulk crystals save you more. Plus you never know when you'll need some extra swarovskis!

    I think I will go ahead and bling out the heels. The rest of my wedding outfit is very sort of simple and elegant- pearl studs and pearl necklace my dad brought my mother from Viet Nam. Simple gardenia in my hair with a very simple birdcage.

    I'm known as something of a magpie, so I think it fits my personality to have the crazy sparkly heels! :)
