Ugh Ally! This thread is going to give me nightmares!

My uncle was in the army and was stationed in the Middle East too. He said that at night when it gets cold in the desert, spiders the size of your hand would crawl up the insides of their tents and huddle together at the very top. He said they were so loud when they moved trying to keep warm, like squeeking almost. That right there would've sent me packing.

My WTF today is I felt light headed and sick to stomach after drinking tea this morning (before eating anything) and I had to go home. I'm sad

I tried to sleep it off, but I think I feel ok now. I HATE taking a sick day. Especially now that we only have ten days of school left.

<div>I actually think that's what we have in the gym. It's either those or wolf spiders, but they don't seem to have the same markings as a wolf spider...at least that's what I have gathered from my several foot distance that I typically keep between myself and it...unless I'm jumping over it to walk into the building. Then we are within inches. Gross. </div>

I want to V8 forehead smack FI. forgive my shorthand via cell today Background, we like to do dinner party night GM and pregnant wife. We trade off which house each time. This time it is our turn. GM txt FI monday asking do we want to this week. I told FI our non busy days were M, W, F. Gm got busy, boys stopped txting. Fi told me he got txt Tues but ignored gm. Now I get txt doing dinner tonight. Which, love them, but seriously.... Fi left mess all over kitchen, didnt take out dinner to defrost, sink is full of dishes. Now I have to pick up my daughter from sitter, hit grocery store, clean house and start this dinner within 1 hour. dinner takes 2 hours and I dont get to daughter until 5pm. Gahhhh!

Butterfly- that sounds terrible, I hope you get everything by this weekend!

No WTF this week! My car is back after its issues last week and it cost a boatload of money, but I realized I've paid 3/4 of what I need to into the wedding account, so I'm doing better financially than I thought. I have a cold, but it was bad enough that I didn't feel guilty taking yesterday off, and now I feel mostly better. Plus I got some chores/wedding tasks done while I was off. I was actually hoping on Sunday when I got the sore throat it would get worse so I could have a day off... stupid guilt my Mom has instilled in me about it being terrible to miss work.

Yuck! I'm sorry you are having such a hell of a time with the Etsy lady. What is the name of her shop on Etsy, if you don't mind me asking? I am always slightly nervous to order anything from Etsy for that reason.

My WTF is that my dad's only two jobs for the wedding are music and booze. Here we are almost 8 weeks away and he has not booked any ceremony musicians yet!! My dad is pretty notorious for doing things last minute. I don't want to be too pushy, but this is NOT the kind of thing that can wait for the last minute. This a wedding for crap's sake. The other part of the story is that I told him the caterer could provide the booze, it would be a little extra but it would negate the fact that we would have to get an ABC license, chill the alcohol ourselves, bring the alcohol to the venue ourselves, etc. When I first told him, he was all about it. When we talked about it again the other day, he acted as though he has never heard about it. UGH. I don't know ladies...am I over reacting here?

HUGE WTF!!!!! My BM dresses still aren't in yet...she told me 3-4 weeks ago that they would be in the last week of April...and while I was home I got another update date and they said the week after that..(last week) and they still aren't here....I"M PISSED! I know there is still time...however, the girls want their alterations to get done & my MOH in TX is the one I'm most worried about because they have to ship it to her...and THEN! I'm even more worried about FSIL because she had to order the largest size, and I'm afraid it's going to be too small!! I really hope it's not because I picked that dress soley because I was told it was going to fit all the girls!! =( But, I know that I had to order the 2nd to the largest Bill Levcoff carried & the dress is huge on me! I could've went a size down. SO I'm hoping that will be the case for FSIL!

LM - Our dresses are Bill Levkoff, too, and they took FOREVER to come in. The store owner said the dresses are a really good quality and normally take longer than the other brands they sell (the standard After Six, Jasmine, etc). I'm hoping she wasn't pulling my leg...

If your FSIL's dress is too small I'm sure they can sew in an extra panel of fabric to accommodate. It sounds like she'll be just fine, though.

I just found out that the GMs have planned a super awesome surprise bachelor 4 day weekend for FI that he is going to be over the moon about.... EXCEPT... we are getting married on the 28th and they have planned it for the 20-24th... like a few days before our wedding!!

Now i'm not worried it'll end up like 'The Hangover' ...not that worried :S lol. But we are doing a lot of this wedding ourselves. Like the rehersal dinner and next day brunch are @ his parents farm and all that will need to be preped. The ceremony is taking place on land that we have (future site of our family home) but the whole ceremony space will need to be set up and from the thurs till just after the wedding we have family coming to stay with us so the house has to be clean/prepared. And we have a couple other weddings to go to between now and ours (and all the pre parties that go with them)... on top of i'm a regional direct for these summer games that are happening 3 weeks before our wedding and his family running this big nation wide seed growers convention two weeks before our wedding .... I'm like over 2 months away and all of a sudden i have run out of time!

I just cant believe they thought leaving for 5 days the week of our wedding was a good idea... you've known we were getting married on this day for over a year now WTF And maybe for some it wouldn't be a big deal but my monther, sister and best friend live on the other side of the country and wont be in till the thrus before our sat wedding. And FI and I are a team and we have been doing this together and i know there are going to be a tonne of things to get done that weekend/week and i'll be stuck doing and dealing with it all by myself. poop. and i feel bad of course cause cause i'm pissed at the GMs but they are trying to do a nice thing... stupid men lol first world problems.
