Cheap hotels for room block?

We're trying to find a second hotel for a block of rooms. Our first one is at Hotel Minneapolis, but we'd like to have another one that's a bit cheaper. Our wedding is at Nicollet Island, so something either downtown, in Northeast, or near the university would be great. I'd love to get it under $90, if possible. Any ideas?

    I got the Holiday Inn Express (Convention Center) for $89; I have not stayed there though.  One of my aunts stayed there and said she liked it though :)

    Our hotel block is at the Westin in DT. I think it's $129/night + $28/day for in/out valet parking. I think the price per room drops if you're over 10 rooms, though (which we're not).

    When I called the Residence Inn Downtown (across from Macys) they quoted me $89 - $99 depending on the weekend.  huge rooms with kitchens
