Since we're in the "etiquette" section of the board, and I'm feeling a little sentimental at the moment, I wanted to extend a general thanks to all you ladies who behave as such on these boards.
I've seen other boards where both brides and former brides get downright nasty and use words like, "moron" and "idiot" in reference to brides whose opinions differ from their own (*cough*snarky brides*cough*) While I personally have never been on the recieving end (that I know of and even if I were, I don't think I'd really care :)) I've seen how rude and deliberately hurtful some of these women can be and it's just kind of sad.  I can't help but find it ironic that many of the posts which contain cruel and nasty verbiage relate to disagreements on etiquette (hello?!? Calling strangers nasty names is considered poor etiquette!  I learned that in preschool.)
Even when many of us sit at opposing viewpoints in regards to what's polite and what's faux pas when it comes to technicalities (and let's face it, our little disagreements can get pretty heated) I've noticed that most of you who are in the same bridal boat as the people with whom you disagree maintain an element of respect for the fact that we're all trying to make our wedding days beautiful and memorable.  That, in itself is a great indicator of true class and while some minutae of wedding etiquette is debatable, class is not, and I appreciate all of you ladies who demonstrate it.
