XP: Catholic Wedding Invites

Ok, let me know if this sounds right...

Mr. and Mrs. Lizzywiz
request the honor of your presence
at the Nuptial Mass uniting their daughter

Lizzywiz
and
FI

son of FMIL
in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony
on Saturday, the ninth day of February
Two thousand thirteen
at one' o clock in the afternoon
at our Catholic Church
City, State

Any corrections? I feel like the flow is weird. I want to include FMIL's name so she doesn't feel left out, but since she's not hosting anything I don't think it's appropriate to put her at the top. Also, I'm not sure what the reception card should say. We're having the reception immediately after the mass at a different location.

I think it looks fine.  The biggest issue I think is that it's not the sacrament that unites you, but I think a lot of people word their invitations that way.

I also think it's really sweet of you to include FMIL.  Please check with her, though.  Even though my ILs paid for our invitations, they did not want their names on the invitation because they didn't want anyone to think they were hosting (but they are really big on that formal stuff).  I just sent a preview of the wording to everyone who was mentioned on the invite.

As for the reception card, I would just say, "Please join us immediately after the ceremony at Really Awesome Location for a reception."  (You could say "for dinner and dancing" or whatever you want).  I would give you a concrete example but I just looked at our invitations and realized they didn't say anything about the reception.  Whoops!

    How about:

    Mr. and Mrs. Lizzywiz
request the honor of your presence
at the wedding of their daughter

    Lizzywiz
    to
    FI

    son of FMIL
and your participation in the Nuptial Mass
Saturday, the ninth day of February
    Two thousand thirteen
at one' o clock in the afternoon
    at our Catholic Church
    City, State

This was the wording of the invitation for a Catholic wedding I attended last weekend, with the addition of "and your participation in the Nuptial Mass" (they didn't have a Mass since the FI wasn't Catholic).  Not sure if the flow is that much better, but it's an option.

Would "at the Nuptial Mass celebrating the union of their daughter" be a better wording Prof (and others)?  I've seen this come up a couple of times (and since I will be doing mine soon I've started to pay attention) and everyone says "Nuptial Mass uniting" is not quite right but close.
