Has anyone had experience with having a friend or family member ordained online in WI?

What are your experiences? Any problems legally?

    It was a very fast process and our trustworth friend took care of all of the legal logistics (I think just filling out a form and filing with the county).

    My friend got ordained and will be marrying us. The only issue we ran into is that she lives in Nevada, so she has to get a letter from someone ordained in WI or something. She is taking care of everything and is being very professional about everything.

    I looked into it.  The key is to make sure the ordained person registers with the county in which the ceremony will be held.  They just need the proper documents and maybe a small registration fee.
