Bridal Shower locations/venues w/Appetizers?

Hi everyone! Can anyone recommend a good venue for a Bridal Shower? Not necessarily a sit-down lunch/brunch but if they have appetizers and a nice area to sit? My sister is having a hard time looking for a place to accomodate at 50 minimum. Help!

We're having mine at Blue Water Grill. It is a sit down brunch tho, so not sure if it's what you want...

My BF's sister had hers at Buckley's in Brooklyn. It was really, really nice.

what borough do you need? i don't know any restuarnat that would let you take up space for 50 people but only serve appetizers.

mine was at Mama Rao's on 11th avenue in bay ridge/dyker heights and they had room for about 75 people in my room. also a few blocks away is La Sorrentina, which has several party rooms and a basic, tasty meal is only $35 a person.

Bongo on West. St and West 11th does good apps and drinks and has a "living room" type atmosphere with couches and stuff that could be fun. www.bongonyc.com
