Dress Regret....Maybe...HELP!

Hi,
I bought this dress a few weeks ago. It was actually the first dress I tried on and was everything I thought I wanted (wedding is in a back-yard and it's a bit rustic/vintage "themed"). I loved it when I tried it on and it does look better in person since the photo's aren't great, but I need some honest opinions about it. I wanted it to be simple and elegant, but does it come across that way... is it bridal enough (It's mostly lace with a chiffon bodice)? I'm planning on wearing a birdcage veil with it.  Does second guessing your dress happen all the time? I'm starting to freak out. :(

Here's the front

and the back

Thanks in advance!

  • I think you look great!
My dress was also pretty simple. I had some big dress regret but loved it when it came in. It'll look more "bridal" once you have your makeup done and your veil.
  • Really pretty & your figure looks lovely in it! I had a "Did I seriously just do that??" moment when I had just finished buying my dress. I think that's normal, it's a big purchase, both financially and emotionally.

  • I think it's perfect for what you're going for.

When I bought my dress the first thought that entered my mind when I left the store was "oh crap, what did I just do?" but I love my dress and after about a week I calmed down.

  • I really like it and it looks lovely on you. :)
  • I haven't bought my dress yet so I can't help you with how you normally feel. However, you look lovely in that dress. It's definitely simple and elegant. And I love it when you look at a bride and just see how beautiful she is instead of gaping at the dress. The dress should compliment you, not take the focus from you, and your dress definitely compliments you. Good job! :-)

  • I think you hit it right on the spot with that dress for what you're describing. It will fit the day perfectly and you look terrific in it. Sometimes it doesn't seem completely real & bridal until you have your hair done and accessories on. You just have to use your imagination.

And trust me, a lot of brides have that moment where they're not 100% sure they made the right decision. I did, myself. Then I went and tried my dress on again, and realized I fell in love with it in the first place for a reason!

    GL!
