Oh Sesh, that sucks.

I'm kind of annoyed. I ordered stuff on Monday from Ulta and Old Navy and neither of my orders has even shipped yet. It never takes this long. I know, there's probably a lot of stuff to ship because of Cyber Monday, but dammit I want my things.

It seems like this time of year slows everything down, just because of the volume of things that are being shipped and mailed. If you're impatient (like me) it's torture!

Les, entitlement like that makes me nauseous. I really hope your H stands up to his son. Not in a "hell no you entitled brat" kind of way, but more of a "we are giving you x amount of dollars, do what you want with it. anything past that is on you" kind of way.

The place I order Whisky's meds from said I had to order 2 months' worth of medicine because shipping takes extra long during the holiday season. Which is a flat-out lie for them, because the meds are kept on ice and they do everything priority so it always arrives within a few days. Liars.

But anyway, thanks everyone. I'm trying to think happy thoughts. Originally I thought maybe it was her diet and weight loss but her doc says she is healthy, so I guess if it's in the lungs then it's different.

Steph- I work in Patient Services at a large hospital system. I'm fairly new and worked 11 hours Thanksgiving day and am working all New Years weekend and people are getting mad because I have Christmas off and they don't. K will be here that weekend and I want to spend time with him so I'm just ignoring the drama.

Good morning. I'm currently frustrated with my cousin. I just wish that child would think for herself. She's grown up in a small mountain community where graduating high school is sometimes the biggest educational accomplishment (sometimes, because the graduation rate isn't that high) and analytical thinking is not encouraged. I want her to get off of that damn mountain and learn that there's more out there than the backwoods mentality she's currently surrounded by. /endrant

Steph- Get well, being sick sucks! Trust me, I'm still recovering from my Monday fever.

The Avalanche won last night 6-1. H and I were at the game. I darn near forgot that we had a game to go to, good thing H was on the ball! I'm really looking forward to the Denver GTG tonight, it should be good fun! I am glad I sent out my SS stuff yesterday instead of waiting until today. The roads (mostly north of Denver) are the suck. You'd think that the CO Dept of Transportation (who knew this weather was coming for like a week) could be a little more on top of plowing and sanding. But, yeah, whatever. Poopheads.

And, LAX, really, you don't have emergency lights for when the power goes out? People had to use cell phones for lighting? WTF?

Nothing new going on here..trying to kill some time with some crafts today befor FI gets home tonight. So glad he is finally home tonight, this week has been the suck, between being sick and my puppy passing away this week needs to end.

Puppy adorableness.

Steph. He went back and forth about it. He sounded like he wanted to say yes, but also told me he has to see how the interviews go. If they find someone better suited to that position than to my current on they will hire for that one and I stay here. But if they find someone that will do well in my position they will move me up. I asked a few people in the office about his decision making skills and they all say he won't make it on his own. He will ask all of the other higher ups what they think.

He did happen to mention that the two owners of the company are "very impressed" with my ability to learn my current position. Turns out my three days of training is usually three weeks for most people. It's just a waiting game at this point.

Ugh, probably never. There are 8-10 people coming in tomorrow for testing. If any of them pass they will be interviewed as well. Apparently our test is really hard. Most people don't even finish them. I finished it with time to spare. I don't see why 2 out of 30something people have passed since they started looking to fill this position. They have been testing for this position for 2ish months. I actually found out I had tested for it and the person in my current position walked out mid day after three weeks so they hired me into this one.

Morning! Sesh, T's for your mom. Steph, I hope you feel better. So, my Dad called last night. He's a helicopter pilot and the company he works for picked up 3 military contracts, so he's leaving for Afghanistan next week. He'll be gone a month. I'm really scared, sad and angry. But I'm proud of him. He's such hot shiit, he can set his pay rate. Per hour. So, the money is a big deal for him. I just wish he wasn't going to be gone for Christmas
