I'm trying to figure it out.

We are getting married at 4:30, dinner will be at the same location.

Seated dinner what time should dinner start?

What time should the dance start???

Do you want to do a cocktail hour? I don't if you would do one since it's at the same location as the wedding. I am having my reception at the same place as you. I am having cocktail hour at 6 then dinner at 6:45. Am haing a buffet so it's going to take longer then yours. I want to have the dance start at 9/9:30. Do you know how long the ceremony will take?

I have ours in my married bio. Our wedding started an hour after yours, and we also had the ceremony & reception in the same place. I think we had our photog for 7 hours. Hope it helps!

yes we want a cocktail hour. I'm pretty sure the ceremony will be short, but they never start on time usually anyway.. so I'm thinking dinner at 6 or 6:30

Although I am getting married in Rochester I am doing the same as you. Ceremony at 4:30 (hopefully no longer than 20 minutes), we are dismissing our guests and then we will have a cocktail hour starting directly after ceremony in a different area, then into have a sit down dinner that will start at 6:30 (different room again), dance 8-12.

We were planning on having our ceremony at 4:30 as well, but when we met with our coordinator she recommended not doing it anytime before 5pm. So now we are having the ceremony at 5:00-5:30, social hour until 6:30, dinner at 6:45, and dance around 8pm.
