Baby Books!!!

Anthony and I stopped at the bookstore on our way home from his parents today. I originally went there to pick up a new James Patterson book since I finished the one I was reading and the library was closed. I looked at the Patterson books and decided to wait until I could get to the library. I asked Anthony if he wanted to look at baby books with me and he said YES! We looked around the store 2 times before having to ask a lady where the section was. After looking at a few books for almost 45 mins we were going to leave. When we stood up to leave the family section Anthony spotted some more books about pregnancy etc. I got What to Expect Before You're Expecting: the complete preconception plan and Anthony got The Expectant Father's Guide to Pregnancy. I am soooooooo EXCITED!!!!!! Even though we don't want to try until October, we want to be WELL informed! YAY!!!! Laughing

  • I decided to follow your lead and downloaded the book on my Kindle. I was super tired last night so I didnt start reading it, hopefully tonight!

  • Awww.... I started a trend! LOL! We can have a book club now. LOL!! I've been told to look at the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book, but when I skimmed through it I was confused and got a headache. I think the Expect book will be more my style!

  • Wow, I haven't thought about buying any books. I just figure after I get preganant maybe we'll buy one or two "what to expect..." books but I haven't thought about buying any before hand. I know that conceiving might be a little hard for us because my periods are not regular but I don't think I need to take control of my fertility. I think I know now when I am ovulating and sadly, it's not every month. :(

If I were you (and this is just how I am lol) I would be seeing a doctor now so that you can at least try to get a diagnosis as to why you dont have regular periods. If you and your doctor can figure out why this is, it may save you some time and heartache when it comes time to actually start trying to have a baby.

    But like I said, that's just me <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />

I would agree with this. It will probably take some time to concive for you, so get the ball started early, even though you don't want to be trying just yet.
