Interfaith Minister suggestions?

Hi all, 

So i'm just staring to plan and was told that I need to secure an officiant early (we're getting married July 2012). Is that true?

And if it is, does anyone have any suggestions about an interfaith minister that you may have loved? I'm Christian and my fiance is Jewish so we're thinking we'd love to have a non-denominational minister who wouldn't mind a couple of Jewish customs (like the chupah, breaking of the glass) being incorporated into the ceremony. Any suggestions?

    I loved my officiant, Gerald Fierst.  He is a Civil Celebrant who incorporated Jewish customs into our non-religious ceremony and added a bunch of his own creatively personalized touches. Plus he's easy to talk to and very professional.   This reminds me, I need to post my vendor reviews!  Here's what I posted on Wedding Wire: 

    Gerry was wonderful! We wanted a non-religious officiant to perform our ceremony. Gerry worked with us to customize a ceremony to fit our personalities, all the while remaining professional and clean-cut. Everything about it was beautiful and guests have commented how touching and unique our ceremony was.

    Mitch the Minister.  He is Jewish and his wife is Catholic.  He understood exactly what we were looking for.

    I found my priest and rabbi through Interfaith Clergy (they have a website). They are a group of like 100 clergy members of all denominations who specialize in interfaith weddings.
