We didn't call the cops about your whining dog. So next time it happens, think twice before you bang on my door at 9pm and scare my child with your harsh and threatening tone. I do feel bad that you leave the poor dog outside all night though. She is obviously used to being an inside dog and if you can't take care of her, maybe you should give her to someone who wants to. If you don't want to do it, there are other modes of transportation. Shut up already.
If you choose to get on a flight then you choose to comply with federal regulations. I'd much rather be scanned than have everyone be "patted down" aggressively.
If those scanners make my plane safer, then I'm all for it.
