Is hard water a Florida thing? I never noticed it growing up but my water now is SO hard. It is effing up my baking soda thing too. I really don't want to have to start buying shampoo again.
RP, I literally just gasped. Not at the words in the house decor, but at monograms. While I don't have them everywhere, I think they can be super cute.

I still don't love the idea of making them pay for it (which even I don't understand why I don't like that, because I'm fine with BMs paying for their own dress and HOW IS IT DIFFERENT?), but yes, that suits me much better.
But even if you were picking a style and I thought it was way lame and not ok, we could still be friends.

Well the words are what I was talking about. I don't give two shiiits about the little box shelf things.
Oh, wear whatever shoes your little heart desires. But it's lame to specify 50 dollar sneakers for your bridal party to have to buy.
RuPen, I hated the monogram thing you posted too. SO very NMS. AND yes, the water in Florida is stupid hard. Have you looked into buying a water softener? I know my grandmama had one.
Ugh I hate that live laugh love crap too RP. One of J's friends gave us a super cheesy heart shaped frame with something like "Love Forever" on it, and J likes it so he wants us to use it on a wall. BLAH. I really hate that stuff.

I'm like the only person I know that is not obsessed with them. Everyone I know has monogrammed bags and towels and pillows and glasses and luggage and coozies and fuucking croakies. Luckily I can always tell what is mine because it is the only thing not monogrammed!
I left work at a reasonable time since DH got home today. He took me out for hot dogs, bought the horse some fly spray, himself some blue jeans, and we bought groceries. He's going to be home for 2 weeks! Yay!

monograms confuse me when the last initial is in the middle between the first and middle initial. If that made sense? Like, Sally Jane Doe's monogram is sDj. that just seems wrong.

I'm not a fan of monogrammed things either. I have one monogrammed make-up bag, and I only use it because it was a BM gift and I like the actual bag. All the cheesey frames and stuff we got as presents are packed away somewhere with the pictures that came in them.
Gah, I know! I really really DO NOT WANT IT up. I just looked and actually it says "Two Hearts Become One" and then it has rhinestones on the side. Barf.

My BIL and SIL have a big frame that says "All because two people fell in love" and it has a picture of their first kid in it. Barf-o-rama. H and I are in agreement that if anyone ever tries to buy us something like that it is getting burned ASAP.
Muni, we are renting so I don't think I want to buy a water softener or anything like that. Maybe when we buy I will care more. The water does taste bad so I think for the first time in my life I will start drinking filtered tap water.
Oh, that reminds me. Croakies are NMS. I just don't get the point. Actually, yes I do, they are for the boat. If you're in a bar, you don't need them. I feel the same way about boat shoes. I own them, I wear them when I go on the boat. They are not a fashion statement and should not be worn around.

My grandmother has a condo in New Smyrna and we always would buy gallons of water from the store there because it was so nasty. We noticed that the dog wasn't drinking water and had to give her water from the store so she would drink. I figure it is really bad if the dog won't drink it.
