Umm, I'm going to have to work something out soon.  I've got 16 days to get it together.  I'm like a elementary school kid learning cursive for the first time.  I can see trying to sign some type of contract and the people being like, "Excuse me ma'am, but you do know your name?"

Love everyone's post, I've been practicing in the past few days and  I feel like kkidd28, like I'm in high school crushing on the star football player, creating funny feeling in stomach, but I am ready to go from the end of the line 'W' to  'H', besides 'whitaker-harris' would be just too dang long.

I've just started practicing... I am going from a J to an I and the execution is way harder than I thought it would be. Plus, I don't know if I like the way it looks... So now I'm tihinking about hyphenating... maybe I just need to get used to hearing/saying/writing it lol.

I'm going from B to W *sigh*. I oftentimes find myself doodling it out during meetings at work. I try it with using my maiden as my last name, hyphenating maiden and married, and using dropping maiden name altogether.

I been practicing and I'm not good at all.  I will need more practice to make a my signature name.

I was practicing before we got engaged and have a couple of times since we got engaged! It's on a scraps of paper somewhere. I'm sure it'll probably turn up when I get ready to move in just before we get married and he's going to say "AWEEEEE"

I am still struggling with this and have been married three weeks!  And not just with writing it, but saying it as well.  I introduced myself using my maiden name today, and then remembered and introduced myself to someone else a few minutes later with my new name.  People are going to think I've got a split personality or something.  The United States of Erica, lol.

I need way more practice with my signature too.   It's not smooth at all right now.

I have been writing his name with mine since we started dating like a little girl with a crush. I don't plan on changing my signature because I don't write my last name when I sign things. I write just a J and then random scribbles.
