First kisses

I was just watching a TV show, and the characters had their first kiss. It was all romantic and everything, and it got me thinking about my first kiss, which sucked. So tell me your first kiss stories, because now I'm nostalgic.

My first kiss was at the end of Rush Hour 2 on a first date with my first boyfriend. He basically stuck his tongue down my throat right from the get go with no build-up. We were at the back of the theatre, and everyone was walking past us to get out of the theatre. Yes, I was embarrassed, and yes I kept dating him. I was 16 and he was the first person interested in me.

My first kiss with H was better, but not romantic either. We were watching Pirates of the Caribbean in his dorm room after a study session. He had just kicked his roommate out so we could hang out alone. He did the yawn-and-stretch. It was cute.

My first kiss was my freshman year of high school, on my front porch after my first date. His dad drove us and saw the whole thing from the car.

My first kiss with H was on our first date. I made the first move and tried to kiss him, but he claims he wasn't expecting that. He ran away. Backward. Right into the side of his car.

My first kiss was in Kindergarten. The boy stuck his tongue in my mouth. I went home and told my mom. The same boy also took his mothers wedding ring out of his moms jewelry box and gave it to me on the playground.

My first real kiss was at a park when I was 14 or 15. It was gross and sloppy, lol.

I kissed H for the first time in the parking garage at work. We were in his truck.

My first kiss was freshman year of high school. It was a guy I had been 'dating' for a few weeks. We were watching a movie in my basement with two of our friends (also 'dating' at the time.) They started making out, and obviously that meant we should too. It wasn't awful, surprisingly (it was his first kiss, too.)

My first kiss with H, though, was awkward as hell. Looking back, it's kind of hilarious. We both kind of tried to initiate at the same time and it just didn't work out too well. Then my roommate walked in. oops.

Are we talking kiss kiss or like peck? My first "real" kiss was when I was 14, 4th of July under the fireworks. It was pretty awesome, actually. Years later I walked into a job interview for my current job and my boss introduced himself. I recognized the name and it turned out to be said boy's dad. Awkward, a little.

ETA: First kiss with H was surprisingly good. We were watching a movie in his apartment and he didn't have a couch so we were laying on his bed. Our relationship moved rather quickly.

My first kiss with FI was on our first date. We went to dinner and then went to see Max Payne. We both kind of went in and kissed each other. We are going to the same restaurant tonight. I doubt we'll go to the movies though.

My first kiss was with an 8th grader when I was in 5th. That all I remember. I know his mom worked at the school.

Haha, right? The same boy was rumored to have done other things very early in elementary school with girls. He grew up to be a player. I did actually hook up with him in my early 20's, cause he was hot as hell, but it was rather disappointing.

I don't care to remember the previous men in my life so I'll tell you about H. It was kind of funny. We'd had this super awesome first date, and I totally thought he was trying to impress me when he took his shirt off at the beach (seeing as how it was nighttime...) so I figured he was interested. But he never touched me.

So we go back to my place and spend the next few hours talking, having a great time, then he basically invites himself to crash on the couch, so I cuddle up next to him. He puts his arm around me and says good-night, and I was so confused. He'd sleep next to me on the couch but not kiss me? WTF? So, I asked him if he was interested or just didn't feel like driving home at 2am, because I figured he would have tried to kiss me (He later said my face was all, WTF dude stop being a pvssy).

That resulted in joking around about how the moment was ruined and now it was just weird, and I pretend-pulled away so he basically pulled me back down and we kissed. It was perfect.

My first kiss was in second grade (with a 4th grader, scandalous!) He was at my house and we sat on my bed. I was upset with him for playing with some other girls at recess. He said something like "What would it be like if I gave you a..." then leaned in and kissed me. Then he jumped back and said "EEW!" And yet I survived the relationship unscathed...

My first kiss with FI was on his couch, the night we met. It was awesome.

First kiss was with this kid I didn't even really like. We were playing spin the bottle. Hey, it was 8th grade. Don't judge.

First kiss with H was kind of... not alone? Me, H and my BFF were hanging out in H's parents hotel in the suite. H and I were under the covers in a king size bed, BFF was sitting on the bed, not under the covers. We were sneaking kisses under there all night. She totally knew what we were doing though.

My technical first kiss was in first grade. I had a massive crush on this blonde, blue eyed kid in my class. So I hid in a slide on the playground while my best friend held the kid down and I swooped out of the slide like a bat out of hell and planted one right on his lips. I got in trouble later that day because he wrote his mom a letter saying "Dear Mom, I hate school because Danielle kissed me."

My first real romantic kiss was with Ben. We were in 8th grade and had been "going out" for close to a year and still, no kissing. The suspense was starting to make me crazy but I was adamant about him making the first move. Well, he did. At a school dance, the last song of the night was "My heart will go on" and when the music stopped he just leaned in for the kill. His mouth was open, mine was not and a sloppy mess later I was back at a slumber party with friends going "Wtf? That's kissing!?" He later learned that I thought it was terrible, got embarrassed and dumped me. But, it all turned out well eventually

The first time we kissed after we got back together (after I'd broken up with my ex) holy ballsacks my lips were on fire. My whole body was on fire. I always thought he was the best kisser out of all the guys I'd kissed. I'm lucky I get to kiss him forever.

And now I'm done...

Ha, I had the same thing happen in kindergarten, but it was just a regular ring. I went home showing it off to my mom and she freaked out thinking she was going to have the cops show up or something for thinking we stole it. The kid's name was Dwayne. I know because she still teases me about it to this day.

My first "kiss" was when I was 5 with a boy that I was good friends with.

My first real kiss was when I was 12 on the playground of one of the elementary schools in our hometown. There was a basketball game going on that evening and me him and his friend went to the playground. His friend dared us to kiss and we did.

My first kiss with FI was magical. It was in the dance studio at the college I went to, on our second date. The room has huge windows that overlook the river and, because it was night, it was all lit up. So romantic. He proposed to me there too

Also, I honestly don't like kissing all that much. It doesn't do anything for me. The only time I'm all about kissing is if I've had a couple glasses of alcohol, which isn't often. Otherwise, I'm good with just a quick kiss.

My first kiss was in 8th grade at a party. A bunch of people were hanging out talking in a circle, then my "boyfriend" grabbed me and shoved his tongue in my mouth and everyone stopped talking and then applauded when it was over. That was mortifying.

My first kiss with H was in a bar the first time we met. Nothing but class for us.

My first kiss with Dan was on our first date and I just planted one on him. Still one of the best kisses in my history.

Really scary side story - in the 4th grade we would have these pretend marriage ceremonies at recess and we would slice our fingers with a row of staples and have a "blood bond" instead of a kiss at the end. This was like 1983 and we didn't have any fear of what were doing like I would now.

I like kissing, but I don't like it when I first wake up. FI always wakes me upw ith a kiss, which is nice.. then I get up and go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. When I'm done, we kiss goodbye. Which usually, I'm still half asleep for. He wants to keep kissing, but I'm like "okay bye, love you!" lol. It's not that I don't like kissinghim. I just don't like kissing him a lot within 5 minutes of waking up.

I don't remember my first "real" kiss but i assume it was with the guy I lost my virginity to. Maybe not though, my memory sucks.

FH didn't kiss me at the end of our first date but he did ask me out again for the next night so I knew he was interested. He has some rule about not kissing on the first date that I find fairly amusing. He did kiss me when he dropped me off after our second date and I was floored by the chemistry. This was reinforced on our third and fourth dates. After that we were pretty much together 6 days a week or more. It isn't just because of the chemistry by any means but it's a great bonus!

My first kiss with H was on my air mattress at the friend's apartment I was crashing at while waiting for my lease to start at my new place. It was kind of cute. We were cuddling for the longest time and then we both simultaneously made the decision to just go for it.

Spin the bottle- 6th grade. It turned into everyone kissing each other, which makes me laugh now, because before that night, NOBODY had kissed. It was like a light bulb went off and we all thought "KISSING IS AWESOME, KISS ALL THE PEOPLE."

My first kiss with FI was awful. I hate to say it, but he was a brutal kisser. He went in and just went all out with his mouth. I was overwhelmed, so I laughed in his face. This happened the first 4 times we kissed, until I grabbed him and said "KISS ME LIKE THIS, PLEASE." And now he's awesome, so I kiss him all the time.

My first real kiss was my first boyfriend in 9th grade. we awkwardly talked by our lockers until he leaned in and it was just like "Oh, that's what I've been waiting for?"

With FI, it was the night we met, and it was an after bar party. Everyone left the room to get water/snacks/go to the bathroom and he just flat out asked if he could kiss me. I was at that point not at all interested, but thought "Oh what the hell, I might as well get something out of this night!" And it was a wonderful first kiss. We ended up making out in the stair well for like 20 minutes while the others stayed in the apt partying.

First kiss- I was 13 and had been "going out" with this guy for the entire school year. The last week of school he FINALLY planted one on me... it was... awkward. I thought it would be so magical but it was just kinda messy.

First kiss with FI- it was the night we met, we got drunk, and I grabbed his face between my hands and gave him a big smooch. I don't think I'd ever really made the first move like that before, and certainly not the day I met someone... but when ya know, ya know!
