Ack!!!! So my FI came home a day early to surprise me! And boy, was I surprised!
I was at a nearby Starbucks at a meeting for work (I couldn't go to the office today since my boss got stuck at home due to a car problem, and I don't have a key yet, so I was working from home, and was trying to figure out starting up payroll - a task I volunteered for - so I was meeting with a salesperson). Anyway, I was sitting in the Starbucks, and my phone rang twice from FI but I ignored it since I was in a meeting.
Then a few minutes later, all of a sudden, I get a tap on my shoulder - I turn around and it's FI!!! I squealed, jumped up and hugged him. I was so shocked! I started sort of crying and shaking, and didn't want to let him go, but I had to so I could go back to my meeting. He went home, I finished up my meeting, and then went home and jumped his bones!
The house was still a mess! I hadn't showered (just threw my hair up)! I feel bad, wish he had come home to a clean house like I planned. But he doesn't care. Wow, I was shocked!
So apparently he told my brother this morning, and he told my Mom. And so my Mom kept telling me to shower, but I ignored her. Whoops! And then when FI got home and I wasn't here, he called my Mom to figure out where I was and she told him I was at the Starbucks a few blocks away for a meeting. So he just showed up!
Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness! It felt like the proposal all over - I was shaking and crying and didn't want to let go of him!
Needless to say, I'm going now and probably won't be on much the next few days *wink wink*
