What's your favorite thing about your wedding (and getting married to uber-cute, uber-sweet, uber-blahbedyblahblahblah DH/FI doesn't count)?

Accessories, DIY projects, favors, dances...all acceptable answers.

Besides the whole friends and family thing I would say definitely my flowers. FI's cousin is an amazing florist and I know my flowers are going to be gorgeous. Lots and lots of gorgeous fresh flowers.

Seeing all of my family in one place. Both FI and I come from divorced and remarried (and divorced again...) families, so we never get to see everyone at once. I must admit, we're both a little (devilishly) intrigued to see how it all plays out. There could be seriously drama, but we're both hoping everyone sucks it up for our sake!

Other than that, though... my purple shoes!

Okay, this is silly, but what does "AW" stand for? Is it an acronym or is it just like "Awww, that's adorable."???

If I gather correctly, here are my AW/Awwwws:
-The DIYs
-The dress
-followed closely by the venue!

I'm a paper person, so my invites (or at least what I think/hope they will look like when I'm done), programs, menus, etc.

I'm sure my favorite part will be my daughter singing at my wedding. She's now 16, but she decided she was going to sing Allison Krause "When you say nothing at all" back when she was about 6 years old. (long before the finance') everytime I hear her practice I think of how she's always told me she'd sing it at my wedding, and I can hear her as a little girl singing it to me.

Makes me bawl like a baby instantly.
