CT scan results

it came back negative....which of course is great...

Guess it really is just the stress...of work (its budget time for all city governements) and the stress of planning a wedding and the finances that come with it....

I love this board...its my venting place.

    I am so glad it came back negative. I was thinking of you last night (mainly because I got a little headache lol!). If it's stress you need a day to yourself or a couple of day a week in which you just don't think about the wedding!

    its so hard NOT to think about it.....I mean, I've waited my whole life for this...and I want everything to be perfect and budget-friendly...

    But crunching numbers for work and figuring out what I need to cut out the budget and being forced to cut my part-time staff back...is taking a toll on me as it is....

    then with feeling the guilt of my father see the guest list rise...but he knows its his family...heck he has 38 FIRST-COUSINS.  his mom is one of 8 siblings!  so that's 76 people right there...and only about 10 of them will not attend...

    He has seem to move past it and is focusing on the party of the year....he is cutting back now he says by buying 2-ply toilet paper and just ripping it in half...he still has a great sense of humor.

    OH Good, that it came back negative. Now like Jen, said maybe take some time off of planning during the week, which its mostly likely going to be hard cause of this dame board which we all love and are addicted to lol. okay maybe no planning just reading post and commenting, lol, but try and take it easy as much as you can, I was thinking maybe we sould do like a mini get together at a spa one day and then go out to lunch, or mani pedis,  maybe this could help some of us with stress. anyways, take it easy girl.

    I know what you mean on the guest list mine went from 150 to 250 why cause of my parents friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It's definitely a lot of stress, hun. What I think you should still do is compartmentalize. It's so easy to get overwhelmed when so many areas of your life are under chaotic rule. Right now, I feel ya, I have a house to remodel, work, wedding planning, tutoring, it's like aaah! lol But as long as you give yourself 1 minute to just mentally rest, you can hold on to your sanity.

    Your dad sounds so sweet, it's awesome he's taking it with humour!

    Zenia has a good point. That's what I'm doing: posting and commenting. I'm way too busy with freaking kitchen sinks and appliances to even think about say, favours. I resume my planning next week! ... Hopefully lol.

    i have to say i fell in a similar little episode as Jen, between fixing our home and dealing with parents and wedding planning, i got a little overwhelmed, but mentally i had to tone it down a bit! now i take out my frustration on the tread mill for an hour and run my hinny off till i feel better! (it actually works for both losing weight and stress relief!) try sneaking in an hour of walking, either around the block, around your job (in the parking garage) or if you have time, the gym tread mill , but you need that one hour of alone time! try turning off your phone in the meantime (the problem will still be there after an hr, so might as well give yourself some piece of mind for at least 60 minutes!

    Glad to hear your CT scan was negative.  Not sure what your symptoms were, but I was in the ER about 2 weeks ago.  I had a chest x-ray, CT scan, blood work, sonogram and EKG.  All negative.  My conclusion (not the doctor's) was that it was from stress build up.  I have a stressful job, and the wedding wasn't helping.  I took some time off from planning, which only lasted a week.  I also took a full day off of work for a real Mental Health Day.  I got a few laughs about that, but it really was needed.  I hope you feel better.  Eat healthy, get sleep and find an outlet for the stress.  Take some time off if needed.

    Glad the results are negative! Make sure to plan a "No Wedding Weekend" for you an FI. We try to have one every 2 months. :) Just snuggle in bed, relax and watch a movie.... massages are great too!

    Make try to take up Yoga?? It works wonders for stress!

    So glad they turned out okay hunny!! You sound like me. I make myself sick when I get stressed....and boy oh boy are my stress levels sky rocketing right now. You need to take a day to yourself, go for a walk, go to the pool, anything that will help you relax. It's not worth making yourself sick over everything. Let me know if you need help xoxo
