Castle in the Clouds - Exclusive Caterer

Hi,

So I fell in love with the Castle in the Clouds in Moultenborough, NH but they have this exclusive caterer - Harts Turkey Farm Restaurant. I'm a little nervous about having my wedding caterered by something with "turkey farm" in the name. Does anyone have any experience with them? I read a horror story from back in 2010 and I'm hoping maybe things have gotten better.

    I eat there once or twice a year on my home from vacation. It's pretty good Thanksgiving-type food. The only thing I don't like is the restaurant itself. But you won't have to worry about that. Castle in the Clouds is AMAZING! I've heard only great things about it.

    I went to Castle in the Clouds last year - it's beautiful! Such an amazing view!  I also ate at Hart's during the same trip.  As PP said, it's thanksgiving food.  I had turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, the works. during our one dinner there.  It was pretty good, but nothing spectacular.  Are you close enough to the restaurant to go eat there and check it out?

    It's kind of a trip from Cambridge, but it might be worth it just to ease my mind. The food selection the Wedding Coordinator at the Castle had included Prime Rib, stuffed shrimp, haddock, as well as the famous turkey dinner. I'm hoping all of which are good. The Castle wouldn't use them exclusively if they weren't good...right? Maybe I'm being a little paranoid, but the food is important. And I have to make a decision on the Castle before all the dates I like are taken! Stress!
