Venue: Celebrations and More

Hey, everyone! I'm a long time lurker, and I've finally come across a venue that I can literally find nothing about on here. (Or anywhere for that matter!) Have any of you been to/researched Celebrations and More in Imperial? I've contacted them with some questions, but I'm just looking for some opinions and reviews of their service and facility.

Re: Venue: Celebrations and More

  • I've been around here for going on two years. I've seen a lot venues be brought up, but this is the first time I've heard of this place. Sorry :/

Celebrations is not far from where I live. It is a very casual place, reminds me of the bar on Cheers. While they have a banquet hall, I don't think that it is really at the level of a wedding reception, just my opinion.

If you are looking for a reception lcoation in that area there is a really nice and affordable golf club called Quicksilver for weddings. The grounds are beautiful for pictures. Also over that direction is Embassy Suites, which is nice as well and they have a fairly inclusive wedding package. HTH.

  • We looked into Celebrations.  I agree with above post that is feels more like a bar than a wedding hall.  Also, their prices seemed high for the look you get.

We are having our wedding at the Fairview Sunset Room in Bridgeville.  It is run by a very nice woman named Rene and her prices can't be beat.  It is technically a fire hall, but thousands of dollars have been spent to make it feel like a banquet hall.  It was the only place I found that looked nice and didn't cost an arm and a leg!  Plus, everyone I know who has either had a wedding there or gone to a wedding there had nothing but nice things to say.  Her website is currently down, but she just got back from vacation so I would imagine it would be back up soon.

  • Thanks, everyone. They didn't have a ton of pictures on their website, so this info helped. I loved the picture they had up of their back patio area, but I was hoping for something a bit classier. I'm from the area as well, and I should have assumed they carried on the bar-esk feel throughout. Oh well.
  • I had my wedding at the Fairview Sunset room in July 2008. It was a beautiful place and is so reasonably priced. Renee is awesome and does so much for you . We had so many people compliment us on how much they loved our wedding and how nice the reception was! I recommend checking it out.
