and staying in your house, do you still have sex? FI's mom has been here since Saturday. The guest room is right next to our bedroom. And you can hear everything. Any time FI tries to start anything, I shut him down. It's just too icky for me. Maybe if she was staying downstairs or something....

    Our parents are local, so neither side ever stays with us, but I'm always iffy when we have friends over even though the guest room is on the opposite side of the house.

    Oh hell no. That's like we were staying at FI's aunt's house for xmas and he kept trying to fool around. not happening!

    Yup, though DH was not having any of that when we first starting living together.  He was worried about the bed squeaking and I told him we could do it on the floor.  ;)  Our guest rooms are at the other end of the house, and he learned how to go slower and quieter.  We don't have it as often though with guests here.

    We thought about it at Christmas- we were staying at my sister's house (6 adults, 3 babies!!). But then my niece started crying and neither of us were in the mood. Generally, though, no sex at other people's houses. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

    Not when MIL is here.  Sometimes my SIL comes by herself or with her boyfriend.  That doesn't bother us as much because she was our roommate for almost a year before we were married.  But still, not when she's in the next room.

    Yes unless we are otherwise too tired or go to bed at different times.  We also have sex in our parents houses if the opportunity presents itself.

    We've had sex in my parents' house, however, the guest bedroom and my parents' bedroom are very far away from each other. Also, it's not the house I grew up in, so it's not weird :-P

    We're married and TTC, so if they happen to visit during my "fertile days" then yes I would, but it hasn't been an issue yet :-p And I figure they know we are doing it since we're married and have told us they want grandkids!

    My mum and I actually made a pact years ago that if we're ever sleeping in close quarters (ie: across the hall in a small house), she won't have sex and neither will I haha. I have no problem with the idea of parents having sex, but I don't want to hear it!

    Our parents are local so we don't have to deal with that.  But, if we are visiting relatives or something and staying at the same place, if everyone else goes out and leaves us alone...

    H and I were on vacation and staying in the same house as my cousins.  Bedrooms right next door and I was worried about the noise.  But when we returned from a jaunt and they weren't home ... ooh baby.
