Wednesday Afternoon Chat

Spring fever has set in, I gave my official resignation at work today, so I've mentally checked out for the rest of the day.

My backyard strawberries are ripening like crazy and they're exceptionally delicious this year.  I'm hoping to take a trip to a pick-your-own farm within the next few weeks so I can pick up a ton more to freeze.

Someone teach me how to can/jar fruit.

    Yay congrats on the resignation :)  How did they take it?

    I am excited I just bought 4 bathing suit cover ups, 2 bathing suits for FI and a dress at Marshalls for $100 bucks I love that place!!!  And I used a GC FMIL gave me for my bday back in march so I didn't have to pay for any of it :)

    I am leaving work in an hour and a half for our first official meeting with our mortgage broker. NERVIE!

    and I ate leftover crockpot mexican chicken that I made on Sunday for lunch, and now my stomach hurts. I am afraid it was too old. yuck. now I am nervous AND have a bellyache.

    I just had my work review, and I think I ate too much since it was over lunch at the cheesecake factory. Good thing I have bootcamp tonight....nap time please.

    LADY - My 2 bosses already knew about it, so they were fine with it.  I'm still waiting for HR to get in touch with me...... (I hate the HR here)

    Butterfly - What are you nervous about??  I'm sure you guys crunched the numbers already and checked your credit scores... yes?  no?

    Bells I LOVE Cheesecake Factory! Totally jealous you got to eat lunch there, but not totally jealous about having to do it over a work review! I'd probably be too nervous to eat.

    My florist said she would have my quote to me today. I am nervous to see it!

    yea we are good to go with everything - I just feel nervous in general hahaha. the whole random bank people checking out my banking activity thing makes me anxious, too. I am afraid they will judge me for too many nordstrom's runs and etsy purchases this past month.

    I ate way too much! It was kind of awkward but I got a raise which is all that matters in the end oh and a free meal! :)

    Good luck butterfly it is a little nerve racking.  The bank will probably ask you for 50 million different documents.  Closing is so stressful!!

    have you guys ever tried the avocado egg rolls at the cheesecake factory? one time I got them as my meal and O M G they are the best thing ever. it's like, egg rolls and guacamole got together and had a baby, and these suckers came out. I want some right now.

    thanks lady!! they have already asked us for a crap ton of stuff!! our broker asked for my law school transcript, WTF?!? I told him I would give him a copy of my diploma, but I don't want you bankers perusing my grades from years ago....turns out the diploma copy will suffice their needs (for now!)

    We're closing the week of June 11th... still waiting for the sellers' attorney to pick a freakin day.

    The tacos on the CF's skinny menu are AMAZING... not as amazing as the fried mac and cheese balls, though..... sinful.

    Avacodo egg rolls are BOMB!!!! I love the ones from BJs. FI is working an early shift this week so he should be home by 3:30pm. I really want to go out and have a good dinner. So not in the mood to cook dinner considering we are leaving tomorrow for the weekend and I dont want to clean anymore then I have too.

    I had s blue cheese blt burger which i probably shouldn't of had but it was delicious! Penny- yes the one at providence place we didnt eat outside look like it was going to rain

    Mmmmm cheese. I could go on and on about my love for cheese.

    If I had to choose a favorite, I don't think I could. Although maybe a good brie.

    bride-thanks for making me feel a little better that cheesecake factory carrot cake is healthy lol. I think I may share it with FI depending if he is nice today...at the moment he has been a groomzilla lately. It's funny because the other day he loved the fact I haven't turned into bridezilla yet....
