OOT bags- per person or room?

How are you ladies handling your out of town gift bags? Are you making one per room or one per person?

I am leaning towards one per room and just filling it up a little fuller than originally planned....

We did one per room / couple with the exception of singles that we knew were splitting a room together (they each got their own bag)...that's how it has been with weddings we have attended in the past. I can't remember ever getting my own OOT bag but there were times that I wanted my own :)

We did one per room unless I knew two single guests were sharing a room (a couple girlfriends of mine did this), in which case I gave each guest their own.

Same as PP.  One per room, unless I knew some single friends were splitting a room.

Not to hijack, but how do you know who has booked?  Do you call the hotel and ask for a list?

Noodle I was wondering the same thing. I was just thinking they would tell me there are 15 rooms booked.
I'm doing 1 per room and they will be based on 2 people in the room (2 water bottles, etc). If there are, say, 3 singles sharing the room, they are saving money on the room and can buy and extra water bottle if they need to :)

We got a list from both our hotels with the guests names on it. The first list came at the RSVP deadline date and the second one was an updated list a week before our wedding.

Hey sorry for the delayed response..

Noodle- my hotel allows me to view my block online so I can see whose booked, for how many nights, for how many people. It's awesome!
