Hair and Make-Up?

Anyone have any suggestions for cheaper places that still do a really good job in the Portland area? Preferably not in the downtown area, Gresham or Sandy area would prefered since our wedding is up at Mt Hood. I got one quote from someone and it would be $400 for the trial and actual day of hair and make-up, but that's just out of my price range. Thanks!

    The salon at Edgefield always gets good recs, try calling them.

    I love my hairdresser, she works in Sandy at Bellissimo Salon!!  They do a great job and are very reasonably priced.  Either Tiffany or Greta are WONDERFUL!! I'm sure the other girls are as well, but they are the ones I know.

    Amanda at Ruby's Salon at Edgefield did my make up for the day of my wedding.  She's FANTASTIC.

    I had my Mary Kay lady do it.  It only cost the price of the product.  She came to my venue and did me up, and I simply paid her for the items she used - so I got some wonderful make up out of it that I am able to use again! It cost me $58.  She's a wonderful girl too.
