Gift for E-Party

We were invited to an E-party. What do we give as a gift? Money? Should I ask the bride's mother (when I rsvp) if they are registered?

    I like wine. Wine is good. Or maybe 2 bottles, a red and white (if you don't know their tastes).

    IDEA! You can bring two bottles of wine, red and white. the white can be the bride (put a cute little veil thing around the neck of the bottle) and the red can be the groom (a little bowtie around the bottle's neck)!

    sep, that is adorable! I'm definitely stealing that one next time any of my friends get engaged. Heck, I'd be happy to get that as a wedding gift!

    I think it would be weird to bring cash to an E-party.  If you want to bring something, get a card and some wine (ditto PPs) or a cute wedding planning book.

    They have those bride and groom wine bottle thingies at Party stores.  Cute idea!  I would probably bring a bottle of champagne.  Champagne is festive.

    I took a nice bottle of champagne to an e-party, but I also like sep's idea. 

    Another cute idea is to take a bottle of wine that you love and attach a card to it to suggest when they should drink it.  I went to a shower like this, and people brought their favorite wine for a relaxing evening at home or for a first anniversary dinner or for making up after a fight.  I have a spiced wine that I love that you warm up so I've given that for their first Christmas as a married couple.
