I'm an idiot... RSVP related

in July 2012 Weddings

So, I was super excited to get my invitations out and I completely spaced putting names on the RSVP cards. Most people are RSVPing online or putting return addresses on theirs but I just got my first RSVP with no name on it!! I dont know what to do! Im still waiting on 85 more RSVPs!

    Eek! Are you having guests pick their meal?

    Yes. People have to pick chicken or beef!! Luckiily the ONE that didnt put their name on it is a "No" response. But it makes me worry about the 85 others coming!

    See thats why we put numbers on the back of the cards. I realize this doesn't help you now though. The only thing you can really do is wait untill all the responses come in and then call all the people who you don't have names for.

    I think you'll just need to wait until everyone's RSVP is in.. or maybe just a few still MIA. Then you can call the people and try to figure out who turned the one with no name is. 

    The problem is if you get another one with no name and it's a yes. Then you won't know who said yes and who said no (like the blank RSVP you already have.)

    That wouldve been a great idea!! Considering I had them all in order when I mailed them, it wouldve been so easy! It didnt even cross my mind! *UGHHHH*

    I say send out an oops email asking everyone to please put their names on the RSVP... that way maybe there will be few ppl u have to call in the end.. good luck!

    I almost forgot to number mine so I had to open all of my invites and do it.  I was just glad I didnt do it after I sealed the envelopes!  I would do what Charlene said and send out an email.

    I did the same thing. I put a number for each guest for just this very reason.
