Bridal Entrance Song..this is stressing me out!!!!

I can not find a song that I like for my entrance, Im hiring a violinist, so It needs to be something a violin can or does play, pretty, not sad sounding.. maybe something new.. new modern song, todays music, doesnt matter wha genre.. Please help, this is stressing me out... thanks

I'd start by asking the violinist what is in their repitory.

If your looking for something different or unique, try a classical peice from one of the twilight movies (I know so corny) but I'm playing several of them as seating music before my ceremony. They are so pretty and classy.

i agree. ask the violinist what they're comfortable playing and if they have anything 'happy' sounding. we did this with our pianist for our recessional, and he ended up choosing his own variation on 'ode to joy' which was downright outstanding.

Ben Folds "The Luckiest" is beautiful on the violin. I'm using Here Comes the Sun but with acoustic guitar. I think that it may sound off on the violin, but that's just my opinion.

Ask your musican for suggestions & if you are not familiar with them go to youtube. Also try going to youtube & just do a search for wedding music violins and see what comes up. You might find just that right thing.

I agree with the PP about the Beatles song. I would recommend going on YouTube and looking up some songs. That's how we found ours!
