    see, i get why people thought he was hot. he was a great dancer, and those moves were scandelous. but he just seemed so old. i dunno.

    i have only seen dirty dancing once, and spent most of the movie yelling "NOBODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER" - DK was less amused as the movie progressed.

    i own this movie on blu-ray (keepsake edition).  it's only missing the e! true hollywood story (which is longer than the actual movie).

    I adore this movie.  It is quite possibly the best chick flick ever made, despite the alarming un-hotness of Johnny.  How often do you get a chick flick that's truly about a girl who is influenced becoming a woman who influences others, and that makes it clear that the "love story" part is only symbolic of becoming a woman and thus will not lead to happily ever after?
