Anyone using or have used this vendor for flowers?  pros and cons?  thanks ladies!

    My mom and I went there for a consultation.  She never sent me the quote.  I had to contact her over 2 weeks later to get it when she said she would have it to me in a few days.  Then the quote was way too high to be making the flowers ourselves so I asked her how we could cut the cost and she still has not gotten back with me.  I have to talked to a lot of other people who have said that the communication/responsiveness is not good.  I can see what they are talking about now!

    I believe a few other brides have used them in the past. I'd flip through to find some older posts/reviews.
    If I remember them correctly most of them liked the quality of the flowers but there did seem to be a trend of poor communication.

    I'm using the Flowerman for my wedding in October.

    So far I've had a good experience - I have changed my mind twice and mayyy be doing it again soon.  In terms of pricing, I was okay with what they gave me - but I also have half of the stuff being made by their design team, soo I knew it would be high.

    I do know their lady Melissa works some weird hours, but that is still no excuse for not getting back to you!

    I would say this, if you already are second guessing them, I would go with someone else!

    I met with them, loved them, and then it was 2.5 weeks later before I heard from them again. I called after a week, which is when they said I would get the quote, left a message and sent 2 emails. I understand everyone gets busy, but I was expecting to have it within a week or at the very least some sort of communication. Because of their lack of response I decided to meet with another florist, Kelly Karsten, that had been recommended to me by other brides on here. For about $50 I got the exact same thing AND she put them together. Worth every penny.

    I used the flower man and LOVED it.  we had our wedding in April and my flowers were one of my favorite things about the wedding.  All my flowers were DIY except my bouquet and my husbands bout.

    I met with the Flowerman thinking it would be the best way to save money.  Then I ended up meeting with Kelly Karsten and Designs by Jerry.  They both came in near the same price and they did everything.  I went with Kelly and spent maybe $50 more but I got even more the money so it was worth it.

    I just used the Flowerman this month and absolutely loved my flowers. The DIY construction party was a lot of fun and I was able to see how my flowers would look before the special day. It was nice to make small changes to my liking that day. Yes, the communication wasnt perfect- it took a few days for a response, but the construction day went very smoothly and they were all prepared when we arrived with our flowers laid out. Melissa was a great vendor to work with. The quality of the flowers was excellent and they are still stunning several days later!

    I am using the Flowerman for my wedding next month and I have had a great experience with them so far.  My consultation was extremely helpful, and I got my quote the next day.  Trying to contact them can be a bit tricky but that is because they are often with brides/families so you have to leave a message.  But after I did that they got back to me within a day or so which was great!  I go in to make all of the flowers next month, and I think that the flowerman provides a great experience to share with friends when you make your flowers so I recommend them!

    I am using Flowerman for my wedding at the end of the month.
    I just saw Melissa and I told her that I have heard chatter about her communication. Its my understanding they hired someone to assist Melissa with the Brides. But she said their are only 2 of them. I usually text her and she is very responsive to texts.
    I dont regret using flowerman at all, but they do slack on the communication end.

    I had a consultation with the Flowerman and had a good experience. However, I booked Kelly Karsten for about $50 more, which makes more sense to me to not have the stress of making my own. Good luck with whatever you choose! As said before, definitly worth the extra money.

    I am using the flowerman for my september wedding and so far so good, i think that they are awesome and i have never had any problems with the communicationa nd i received an excellant price on my flowers.
