So since Valentine's Day is just around the corner how many ladies celebrate it? Do you do anything special? If you don't celebrate it, why?
Me and my FI do not celebrate Valentine's day. We both feel like if someone loves someone you should show it everyday, not just one specific day. Plus everything is so overly price so that the next day it can all be 50% off.
Re: QOTD!!
Which is funny because we're anti-Valentine's day, so it was the one day he could have totally surprised me... and he did.
We'll be having dinner at our favorite Portuguese restaurant and then probably having sex. Hey, you asked....
But i have to work so we may do something on the weekend. We are always having date nights and we make time for eachother but we enjoy Valentines Day

Aww :) As it should be!
As for us, we always do a fancy schmancy dinner and we usually exchange gifts, but I find it all kind of stupid. I asked fiance to stop the gift portion last year and didn't get him anything and he still got me something so...lol

girl. i completely understand. I have roommates at my apt at school, he has roommates at his apt, or I am at my parents house. that doesnt leave a lot of alone time. it sucks. <div>His roommates are also a couple though (the girl just moved in after they got engaged) and they tend to go to bed rather early, so I think we are hoping for that on vday. </div>

I'm a freak for Valentine's Day - I love love love it. I'm going shopping this weekend to buy all the stuff I need to bake up some awesome treats from the latest issue of Taste of Home. I even decorated for Valentine's Day - including a heart wreath on my door.
I love all Holidays - I think they add fun to our everyday lives - without having to do too much, yknow? So - I don't really understand the whole "commercialized garbage!" mentality. They're all commercialized - doesn't make them any less fun!

HAHAHAHAHA. I would love to say that actually happens when you move in together. We just moved in together in January and I can already see a marked difference in our frequency. hahahaha
