AW: Bridal Shower! (PIP)

So - the Bridal shower was on Sunday..and it was perfect. Jessica really went all out.

The only awkward thing is - my former boss (at the allergy office I worked at for three years) not only bought a gift - but she paid for the cake....

and she's been trying to get me to pick up even just one day a week there..bribe??

Me and my friend's kids..:p apparently I was the baby sitter and bride?

    Fun! I had my shower over the weekend too! I think people like to see brides with kids... I don't know what it is... maybe the whole "You're next" mentality.

    Lol. I'm one of the only people in nursing school who already has a job lined up as an RN - and I don't even know if I want to go back there and take the job. I love the people I worked with - but the job kicked my butt..but it is monday through friday..no weekends..hmm..

    Lol! The old lady = my grandma.

    Abuela didn't come. I honestly didn't even ask - which I feel bad about. But I would have been the one to have to pseudo-translate all day..and I guess I was selfish and didn't feel like it. But honestly - I didn't even think she'd like to come because nobody else spoke Spanish and I thought she'd be bored.

    This is THE abuela.

    Lol I though the other woman was too tall to be her!!  Ha you guys look happy in that pic you posted :)  And fyi I always pictured you to have very short hair like your profile pic.

    Oh man - I was actually nervous as heck. I NEVER hold babies because I feel like I might break them!

    Lady, the hair will be short again once the wedding is over and he's stuck with me ;-)

    Yeah - actually - Abuela and I have gotten along pretty decent during the past week with FI gone. :p We're double teaming dinner for FI tonight - she's making a delicious rice dish and dessert. How did we organize  that? Lots of pointing and broken spanish!
