So one way to get motivated is by your seamstress telling you that unless you lose 10-15 pounds in the next month your dress will need a major overhaul to get you in it!!
My fiance and I got engaged in August of 2008 and planned to wed September of 2009. However, I was permanently laid off and trying to find a job ever since with a couple of temp jobs in between, so we decided to hold off a year to get grounded. So now that I've had my dress for a year and half (and happiness is not always kind to the waistline) and we're absolutely getting married this September I'm in trouble! I've been trying since December to get on the healthy band wagon and I've only lost 10 pounds. Now I have to bump that up and do it in a month! I know it's doable but oh my god...
If ANYONE would love to share some words of wisdom or anything that has worked well for them I am open!! I've changed my eating habits and belong to SparkPeople.com and have started trying to do at LEAST 30 minutes of exercise a day. But HELP!! I REFUSE to have a major overhaul done on my dream dress because I couldnt' put down the cookie!!
