Normal Invitation Size?

What size are everyone's invitations?  I am thinking of doing a 5 by 7 pocketfold but can't tell if that is too small.  Any thoughts would be great.  Thanks!

Mine were 5x7 as well. That's pretty standard.

    Another standard is 8.5x5.5.

Mine are 5x7 and non pocketfold and with rsvp and an insert are still normal postage. Phew!

I have a 5x7 panel pocket with 3 inserts and a lined envelope and somehow got away with $0.44 postage! Big phew!!

    5x7 is very common.

<div>That is....amazing. My mom insisted on the taller wedding sheet (it's about 6 X 8) and it's not even that heavy (it's 1-ply cotton) and the stationer warned her that it will probably cost about $1.04 to mail with the response card/envelope. I'm ready to scream. I was planning to pay for all the invitation stuff, but now that she preempted me and called the stationer to change the order, I'm really, really hoping she offers to pay for the postage. I have to send 250 of the things :(. </div>

Ours were 5x7 too, but ended up weighing a little more and cost us $.64 to mail, still not too bad though.

They were exactly 1oz.  I went to 3 PO's to verify $0.44 was sufficient!! And I did a test mail too.

I hope for your budget's sake your mom offers to help on postage too!
