I gained about 14-16 pounds over the space of a year (I attribute it to being madly in love and more than a little lazy). So I started eating healthier and exercising regularly so that I could feel healthy, beautiful, and start fitting in my favorite clothes again! Now the fiance already had planned the proposal and obviously didn't think to factor my weight loss and toning up plans into the date of the big day. I wanted to go wedding dress shopping pretty soon after the proposal but tried to make myself wait until I reached my goal weight. Things didn't happen that way. I found the perfect dress of my dreams once I'd lost 10 lbs and purchased it. I tried it on in an 8 which was too big but still looked great so the consultant ordered it in an 8 Petite and said they'd be able to take it in two sizes to a 4 Petite. I now have my dress, have tried it on, love it, but it is still too big at the back by a decent amount-- it hangs off my back. I'm still about 4-6 lbs away from my goal weight. If an 8P is already too big, will a 4P still be too big if I lose 5 more lbs? Not sure how the weight corresponds to the sizes. I'm 5'4 by the way. Any help will be appreciated, thanks!
