    That may be what happens, but can you go to someone local so you can at least see what works well and have the confidence to speak up on your wedding day?

    I really might do that.  The real reason I wanted a trial was to help me make up my own mind.  I don't think I'm going to be getting any too complicated so it should be easy enough for any competent professional.

    Re bridesmaids:  you'd think I would have avoided dress decision drama by telling them to pick their own dress in a champagne-ish color, but no.  There's still a way to drum up controversy.

    I just told her that if she expects me to stress about that, then she can book my cake, find me a hair and makeup person, write our ceremony, and schedule the rehearsal.  That will free up my brainspace to analyze dresses.

    Oh of course, Elle. I just don't get it. I mean, I guess I was in the middle of some dramz over dresses in a wedding I'm in. But I feel it was justified.

    This is going to come off wrong, but I'm worried my one BM won't be able to fit her dress. She ordered a size smaller as motivation for herself, but she told me she hasn't lost any weight. I just really hope she can zip it up or IDK what we're gonna do.

    ETA: Actually 2 sizes smaller. The seamstress told her she was a certain size, and she aruged she was a size smaller. And then went and ordered one size down from that.
