AK asked me to start a new thread from my one below to get the me party started!
I thought I hadn't given much information about myself on the boards, I just started posting, so why not start now?! Ask me anything!
Here's a start:
1. I got married August 1. It was amazing (see help me make a bio post)
2. H and I have known each other for 11 years. We've been together for 5 1/2, and we met on a teen tour trip through Europe and Israel in 1999!
3. I went to both Michigan and Ohio State.
4. I think I'm really lucky that I love my family so much, and H loves his so much. From a lot of other knottie posts it made me realize how easy wedding planning was because we don't have any internal family fights. Both sets of parents have been married for 31 years. My sisters are my best friends, and my cousins are like my siblings, so I really can't relate to people who post about whether they should invite their siblings or not, etc.
all right, now its your turn! ask me anything. . .

I ask that you choose a side. And choose wisely....

Whoa whoa whoa, Rich Rod and Tressel have a throw down, who wins?
What's your favorite flavor of ice cream?
What do you do for a living? Do you like your job?
What's your favorite song/band/video from the 90's?
Yikes! loyalty is with the Wolverines, but I gotta say OSU has had a better team the last 5 years. But they can't bring it at a national championship level. So I'm sticking with my maize and blue, through good times and bad. I don't care how much it hurts
What's your favorite flavor of ice cream? Mint oreo
What do you do for a living? Do you like your job? environmental lawyer. I like it but sometimes its BS
What's your favorite song/band/video from the 90's? Not sure if this is my favorite, but I've had "Take on Me" in my head for a week! Is that 90's or 80's?? My second choice is "Never gonna get it" by En Vogue.
P.S. I'm a Spartan. Don't mind me.
Have you ever been anywhere in Michigan other than Ann Arbor? What about the U.P.? I lurve the U.P.
Married!

I like you.
Never been to the UP but used to go to summer camp in northern ontario, so that's similar. 1/2 my family is canadian!
I like cereal more than chocolate, but who hates chocolate? Not me!

Well, I'm not sure we can be friends now, it all hinges on your like or dislike of chocolate.
ETA: I see. I guess you're okay after all.

F/U - which school was undergrad and which one was law school?
P.S. As a Boilermaker, I kind of have to hate both as well, but with different hatreds. I am sick of OSU falling on their face on a national stage, so thanks for winning the Rose Bowl and saving face. Of course Purdue beat BOTH of them last year in football . . .

I think we talked on GIS before -- but when did you graduate from undergrad? 2005 for me, from the B-School.
2004 SNRE, which I don't think exists anymore except for grad school. BTW, Jholbel, I ended up losing only 3 lbs before the wedding :( We bought our first house, moved, and then work got so f'ing busy all within 2 months of the wedding. So, I just look like me at the wedding, I don't look like some skeltor version of me, which I kinda wish I was, but oh well.

I lost 27, but I fluctuate within a 5 lb range so depending on the day, it's between 22 and 27. Currently, I'm at the top of my 5 lb range and I can't seen to get back down, which angers me as I start dress fittings tomorrow.
Are you originally from Michigan?
Married!
I made WW lifetime back in 2008, and still fluctuate within 2 lbs, depending on TOM. But I'm at the higher end of my weight range, and I am not as toned as I should be. But, my clothes fit, and I don't really do much to try to change anything, so overall I'm happy with my body and fat rolls
H has done WW too, and so we keep each other on track when we're being good. We have a deal with each other that we'll let each other get 15 lbs either way, and then we step in!
Married!
I hope Mandy doesn't flame me for the 15 lbs comment.
I'm considering it too. But I may or may not have sworn an oath to never set foot in the Big House, so I'll probably have to wait until next year. :)
Posted by akhensley81
Have you ever been to the Big House??? It's quite an experience. My sister is a Spartan and she went to a game with me and she admitted that she was wowed by the stadium, but not-so-much the team. I have front row student section seats my senior year -- it was pretty awesome.
I would love to go to the game this year, but we get back from our honeymoon that Wednesday and I'll probably still be unwinding.
At the same time though, it just seems like the Center of All Evil. Which is why I won't go there.
Married!
On my way to EMU I drove by UofM and the stadium is pretty gorgeous.......but if you ever tell anyone I said that, I'll write a post secret about you!

oops. just posted this on facebook. your secret is OUT.
Married!
Our train will run right over your little wolverines, Spartys, and bucks.

If not this fall, then you just wait until basketball season comes around!
Michigan/OSU is in Columbus this year, ON THANKSGIVING WEEKEND! Definitely going.
