I got very angry while reading that. The truth is a.lot worse than when.the story first came out! Chris Brown is a dbag, assshole. All the names I could possibly think of is him. Rihanna is so much better off without him. Shes been tough these past few years.

Wow, just wow. My heart is pounding. She could very well be dead right now if she hadn't acted as she had. It makes me all the more sad for her that she's allowing him back into her life now.

ETA: As evidenced by the rather convincing rumor (and her sad tweets) that indicate they'll be collaborating on a song, and that he turned up at her birthday

Cal, I just read online that there are numerous rumors they will be.collaborating musically again. I really hope that shes smart enough not to let this happen! I know the incident happened 3 years ago but its quite horrifying. I would like to shake her and say "WTF are you and the people around you thinking?!"

It just makes me horribly sad. Verbal abuse easily leads to physical abuse, and physical abuse cannot be ignored. There's no "getting over it". Once someone crosses that line, it's over. I feel terrible for her, as she's clearly being victimized still if she has not come to grips that she deserves so much better.

You cannot make a good man hit you, and I fully believe an abuser cannot be a good man.

This is proof that she hasn't healed from whatever caused her to be okay with being in a relationship with someone who treated her like that. This is part of the cycle of violence, and exactly why rather than getting over it because she has, we should hate that cycle even more.
