Currently living about 15 miles west of boston. Can't decide if I want to do Boston or Cape Cod (orginally from the Cape).

we are getting married at bourndale function facility which is in plymouth. We love that we can have our ceremony and reception at the same place plus have a place right there for our guests to stay bonfire and breakfast the next day.

We also looked at Indian Pond CC which is in kingston

We are getting married at the Pinehills in Plymouth. It's gorgeous!

We are getting married at the Villa in E. Bridgewater. I originally wanted to get married in Plymouth, but fell in love with this venue. We're still going to do hotel/rehearsal dinner in Plymouth. The Villa is newly rennovated but is still rustic, with exposed beams and nice, dark, hardwood floors. Good luck in your search!

We got married at Shining Tides in Mattapoisett. The venue is gorgeous, but it does have a high rental fee (at least going to a good cause).

We got married in RI but had our reception at SPring Valley COuntry CLub in Sharon, MA. The place is gorgeous, food subperb and just a tiny bit sad it rained so we could not take outdoor pics. Has an outdoor deck overlooking the golf course. It is a little pricey, but was worth the $.

We got married on sandy beach in Cohasset. Reception was at the Atlantica in Cohasset. I highly recommend it. I'm from the cape originally too. We looked at Weychmere Harbor club in Harwich which is so beautiful but was totally out of our budget.

If you are looking on the Cape check out Harbor Point in Cummiquid. We had ours there and loved everything about it! atomosphere food ect was perfect!! Bob was great!

We are getting married at first parish in Plymouth and our reception is under the tent at east bay grill in Plymouth. Love, love, love their food. And very reasonable.

We are getting married at Zuka's Hilltop Barn and are having a great experience with them so far! It's in Spencer, which is right next to Worcester. We found central mass to have some great deals compared to Boston and the coast.

We were married at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield. They were so great to work with, the food was incredible, prices were very reasonable and place is so unique-not your typical Holiday Inn. I highly recommend anyone to check it out!
On the Cape, I would recommend The Coonamessett Inn-recently went to a wedding there and its beautiful!

Our reception was at the Old Town Hall in Salem MA. The price was right, but you have to bring in everything for catering/food. No kitchen facilities either. A good caterer can work around that.

We are getting married at Independence Harbor in Assonet, which is about 15 miles north of Fall River. We wanted to look there because my disabled sister lives in a group home very close to there, and it would be super convenient to transport her to and from the wedding. But when we got there, we were very impressed...the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and the catering options are very reasonable. We are doing a Thursday wedding, so that is the cheapest option, but even Saturday wedding prices are super low. It doesn't include anything other than that and a ceremony, if you want to have it there. They've been very helpful so far as well; very prompt in their responses to my questions. They book up super early though. We wanted October 2013 and it was already almost completely booked a year out. But if you're flexible with your dates it might be worth a look. We were married at the Endicott Estate in October! We also had our ceremony at another location--our church in Southie. We had a really great experience--feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

I can say the food hear is awesome. They have public brunches once a month you can try and if you are looking at it for a venue they gave us free tixs.

It's still early for us, but we *think* we're getting married at Trinity Church in the Back Bay (it's where I go). The big question is the reception -- we're looking at @75 guests, and are trying to save money. Any ideas?
