    Yum, Fishy. Unfortunately, my recent Christmas cookie binge and my wedding gown are not friends, so I have to behave for the next few weeks. As long as behaving means I can have a glass of wine with dinner.

    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Lentil soup and semolina bread. Not vegetarian by virtue of using ham base, but extremely low fat and high fiber nonetheless.

    Hot dogs!  We're going to this place with like 30 kinds of hot dogs, and you can get any of them made with veggie dogs.  I already know which ones I'm getting - the "Classy Lady" (cheese sauce and crushed potato chips), and the "Chicago" (tomatoes, onions, pickles, relish, and celery salt).  Yum!

    I had ramen last night :) I hate that H works most nights during dinner time. I'm probably going to eat some sort of pasta (and I include macaroni and cheese, the kraft kind, in that realm of possiblity), but now I really want corn bread.

    I had refried black beans.  Shredded chicken, veggies and taco seasoning in a pan. 

    Threw all things on a whole wheat wrap with a bit of cheese, sour cream and salsa. 

    It was good.  I'm full.
