Caterer, Cake, Dress - Oh MY! Whaddya think? PIP

After a crazy weekend with the FILs and my parents in the same living space, and a whirlwind 3 days of wedding planning, we locked in our caterer, cake baker and I found THE DRESS (that last one is by far the most exciting!)!

What do you guys think about these?:
Caterer: The Deco
The Cake: Keys Cafe in White Bear Lake
The Dress: La Sposa (dress style: Fresa)

L-o-v-e the detail at the bust on the dress! tres chic! great choice.
And as for Keys... their House Cake is freakin' ridiculous! FIL's get it constantly for birthdays and other special occasions and I swear there is crack in the stuff.  so rich and delish. mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

congrats on all of the big checks Laughing

Hooray for being so productive, and for being another Chicago bride having a wedding in MN! YAY!
I can't say anything about the caterer or cake, but I LOVE the dress. The little pleated details are so interesting. Congrats!

    Thanks, all!

Um, yeah, Keys cake? AMAZING. I had never tried it before we went and did a sampling. We're getting pumpkin cake with browned butter frosting and ganache, and the house chocolate (SO good) with choc. buttercream and raspberry filling. I kind of want that for lunch now.

We also did a tasting with The Deco and the presentation and food was incredible. Succulent, in fact. :) And really good prices!

I was so worried that I wouldn't find a dress that felt right enough to buy, especially after 2 days of trying on tons of them. But once this one was on - I was sold. Got it at Brides of France in Uptown, and the ladies there are so quirky and awesome!

yay!  Love this dress.  It was in my top 4 for sure!  Hurray for Brides of France.  I got my dress there also, but I got the Fanal.  They're really awesome there, I really like them.

Shudak - The Fanal is beautiful! That was one of my options, too. I love that they're blank slates ... I want to find an awesome broach to add to the hip where it gathers.

Bimbi - Where are you in Chicago? FI and I live in Wicker Park. Those weekend trips to MN get stressful, eh?

Debbieupper, I'm in Lakeview! Yeah...traveling back and forth can be rough! This is complicated by the fact that FI currently lives in Bowling Green, OH for school. He'll be moving to Chicago after our wedding in July. I had a marathon wedding planning session for like 2 weeks around Christmas. It was intense, but I got a lot done!

And PS: Your description of that cake makes me wanna take a trip to Keys...like NOW.
