[QUOTE]I go through "project" periods in my life, where I'm all gung ho about something, and then once I get into a routine I let it go (Triathlons, diets, cycling, running, fraud examination, etc). I am scared to death that I will do this with Sparky. I never want to wake up one day and not have any urge to go see his smiling face. Now that I'm weaning because I'm drying up, I fear that its the end of one of these project periods and my connection with him will be gone.

We're very much alike in this respect. I go through what my mom calls "obsessions". I'll throw myself into a project, get bored, and move on to the next. There have been a few things that have stuck with me, though, like color guard, ballet and Lord of the Rings. I'm hoping running sticks with me like that, too, because I'm really enjoying it.

I also have that fear for when I have children. That's one of the main reasons why we're waiting a good long while before TTC.

  • I have my "obsessions" too, and I get bored easily. Writing is the only thing I've ever stuck with. I get bored of jobs after a few months, bored of places after a few days. I kind of wish I coul have a gypsy-type life and move around on a whim and work odd jobs when I wanted/needed to.

I'm very quick to say, "ok, I've experienced this. time to move on." This is why have to change up the house every so often or else I'd go crazy with "sameness."

When New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys toured together summer 2011, I went to go see them...twice in one week.

  • I just looked up Juggalo. I don't get it at all. But Urban Dictionary did provide a few entertaining definitions.

This is me and Will, too. When we retire, we would love nothing more than to own a small house somewhere, and then travel around in a Winnebago seeing the world.

I've always had the wanderlust, which is why I joined the military in the first place. Once we move to VA, I'll have pretty much lived in every corner of the United States (if you consider VA the northern part of the east coast).

YES. There's a Livejournal community where Juggalo stuff gets posted from time to time (the yearly pictures of "The Gathering" and shows and stuff) and all the Juggalo posts get like 400 hilarious comments. I went to middle/high school with so many Juggalos, must be a Midwestern thing.

  • I had never heard of that Art of Making a Baby blog before it was mentioned here recently. Now I have to admit I will be checking it regularly for updates in the hopes that her carefully laid plans go horribly awry. The kind of awry that still results in a happy and healthy baby and mother or course, but I can't get past her self absorption and overall ridiculousness.

  • Celles, that sucks, I'm sorry. I have a couple of outside kittens that I've been taking care of since August. Something got a hold of one of them recently and we found it dead just short of making it home. I felt horrible about it, but I can't bring them in the house to keep them totally safe.

celtic, I kind of skimmed so I don't know if someone already said this or not, sorry if it's been talked about. Your CC company is offering to let you pay $900 for a $9000 bill? Something doesn't sound right about that. Will it go against your credit as a charge off? if so, those can really hurt your credit rating. I'd check into that some more.

I have two very shameful crush confessions...Snoop Dogg and Michael Bolton. I'm not sure how it's even possible, but I find both of them to be very sexy.

[QUOTE]I don't know if any of these are shameful or secrets, the would be shameful to some. - I am a Jesus-lovin' Christian who also loves homosexuals and very vocally believes in gay marriage. I also think many Christians spend WAY too much time focused on homosexuality and abortion as a way to deflect attention away from other things ('sins' if you will) that are way more prevelant and more significant (such as greed).   - I dream of being a SAHM.
