Profile Event Center

Does anyone know if the PEC has a dressing room? Has anyone had their wedding there yet and knows how the Ceremony and than Reception change over process goes?

From what Heather told me almost a year ago they did not have a dressing room - I am not sure if that has changed since then - I would ask her. She did tell me that we might be able to use one of the band rooms but it really depends on if they are all full.

ditto to Danielle.  We're using the Casablanca room (in the front) and there is a lounge area that we could use if needed.  The girls and I are staying at the Radisson the night before, so I think I'm just going to get a suite there and do make up hair on site.  We might use that conference room/lounge if needed though?

We are using the diamond room and like Steph0871 we are staying the night before in the Raddison so we are getting ready there.  We are just going there right before the ceremony.   I'm nervous about how the ceremony/reception switch over will work too.  Hopefully they've done it enough times that it won't be a big deal.

Thanks ladies!!! I'm with you on that Kassie. Nervous on how they will switch the ceremony to the reception. Where would the guest go?

We're having the guests just hang out in the room.  *hopefully* it'll be nice out so people can run outside for some fresh air if needed!   Otherwise, we're just doing a quick cocktail hour so we can snap a few pics, too.

we are also having a cocktail hour in the room while they switch over from ceremony to reception. there should not be too much to do though since people will be sitting in their same seats for ceremony and dinner. It will mainly be changing the stage area. I also rented their (PECs) shuttle during the cocktail hour so we ail (wedding party)head back to the Radisson for a drink and then return to PEC for our introduction.

We are actually meeting with Heather this Saturday to tour the venue.Super excited and curious! I looked at their website and I think I really like the Diamond Hall more. Is there a seperate room for guest to go while they change the ceremony over to reception area? I think we are going to do the ceremony there. It just seems more convienent for our guest. Does anyone have suggestions on a officiant to perform the ceremony?

There's not really anywhere else for your guests to go....unless you rent both halls I guess. It's just the two halls, the small restaurant, and some recording studios

I am having mine in the Diamond Hall. I think it will be fine for guests to be there while they change the room over. I think most of the changing around of things will be up on the stage

We are having a small ceremony so we planned it with enough time so that we can take off, have some drinks, and make a grand entrance for our guests.
