Are you sucker to any social games online?No way. My mom plays pillow fight and farmville. But DH did just start playing one because he's a game developer....so he asked me to join social city last night.
Which one won't you try?Farmville.
Your opinion on Will Ferrell:I think he's funny, but lately, everything he touches is a dud. His "big kid" persona is getting old so he needs to find something new.
Do you know anyone who HAS thrown their own shower or b party?Nope, thank god. Although, I know people who do things that are just as bad when it comes to wedding related stuff.

Love. Stranger Than Fiction is in my top ten favorite movies. And you can't beat the cow bell skit on SNL.

Your opinion on Will Ferrell: I like him on SNL, but I'm not really a fan of any of his movies. (Though, we have Stranger Than Fiction and haven't watched it all the way through. I should.)

Your opinion on Will Ferrell: SOme funny stuff, but I'm not a huge fan.

Do you know anyone who HAS thrown their own shower or b party? No, but one of my friends had her mother throw her shower, AND charge each of the bridesmaids (without asking us how much we could afford) to pay for it. I was in college at the time and we had to each pay $150 towards the shower. This was on top of the dress, shoes, gifts, etc. The week before the shower, I found out that my work wouldn't let me off that weekend. So I couldn't go. One of the bridesmaids hounded me for my portion of the money, even though I wasn't able to attend. BS.

Your opinion on Will Ferrell: He hasn't been in anything good in a while. I think he's kind of overrated.

Do you know anyone who HAS thrown their own shower or b party? No, but my cousin had her mom throw her a "monetary" shower for her second wedding because she didn't need anything. I was like "no ****, you got everything you needed from us the first time around."

Are you sucker to any social games online? Absolutely not. I'm okay with someone playing a few, but my mom and her whole side of the family (brothers, sisters and in laws) all play farmville and any other game that comes down the pike. It's so overwhelming.

Your opinion on Will Ferrell: I love him in bit and supporting parts, like Frank the Tank from Old School and on Saturday Night Live he was fantastic, but he's a little overwhelming and annoying to me in larger roles.

Do you know anyone who HAS thrown their own shower or b party? Sort of. I had a cousin whose fiancee's little sister threw her a shower, but was clearly too young to do so. So the fiancee took control of the shower and the games...it was still nice and didn't seem gift grabby, because her little sister tried really hard, but you could just tell at 16 or 17 she just couldn't get it together on her own.

Brooke: You can block those stupid apps from showing updates. Just click the "X" in the upper right corner of one of your friends' posts about farmville or mafia wars or whatever. Options will come up to either hide the friend or hide the app. When I figured that one out, it was so liberating...NO MORE FARMVILLE OR MAFIA WARS!!!!! YAY!

You don't throw your own shower because it is a gift giving event in your honor. A party in your honor meant to be a gift-giving event should not be hosted by you, because that, in essence, is like saying, "Come to my party to give me gifts!!!" Not the greatest message...

You don't throw yourself a b-party because, again, it is a party in your honor and it is generally assumed that the people in attendance pay for the bride's food, drinks, entertainment, and transportation. So throwing your own would be like saying, "Come to my party and pay for me to do all the things that I planned for us to do!!" Also not the greatest message...

If you want to plan a fun night out with your friends, that is fine. Don't call it a b-party and don't expect people to pay for you and don't associate it with the wedding. That would be just fine.

I actually did that awhile ago. The updates refer to two or three girls I barely knew in elementary school or junior high who are constantly updating "I need one more horeshoe" or something like that. Every time I hide them on the newsfeed someone else gets hooked.

I'm a proud fan of "I don't care about your farm, or your fish, or your park, or your mafia!"

Not anymore. At my old job I did a whole lot of nothing. So I played Mafia Wars, Sorority Life and Farmville/town. I am over all of them though

was a SNL fan in high school. He is ok, but I feel like he is the same character in everything. I don't think I could take him seriously.

not that I recall- but I got yelled at on FB recently by a girls mom when I told her it was rude to announce her registry in a status.

Are you sucker to any social games online? Farmville, Cafe World, and Mafia Wars. I have a lot of downtime at my job, they're good time killers. I never post anything about them from outside the app, though, so people who don't want to hear about it can just hide them.

Which one won't you try? Any of the others. I've found a nice balance and I don't need anything else.

Your opinion on Will Ferrell: He needs to stop taking these zany kid roles, he's not great in them. He was at his funniest on SNL playing the straight man, he should really go back to that.

Do you know anyone who HAS thrown their own shower or b party? No, though my mom and older sister threw the shower for my younger sister, which I know isn't strictly kosher.

Yes, she did. It said something about not knowing Walmart didn't have registry anymore and that meant guests would have to spend more money since she had to register @ Penney's instead. I said "Just don't announce it to people, it's rude and implies your wedding is a gift giving extravaganza." Her mom commented and so did a couple other people about how they thought registries were nice because they knew what the people wanted. I said "Yes, I understand your point, but I am saying she should not go around telling people". The mom left it as, "I guess we'll have to agree to disagree."

I wish I could get on FB at work so I could find and post

Are you sucker to any social games online? I play WoW ... technically that's social, since I interact with people

Which one won't you try? I won't play FB games, any of them. Every time I get an invite, I block the app entirely. 90% of the people on my friends list are "sane" when it comes to apps, but the remaing 10% all play everything and quite obsessively.

Your opinion on Will Ferrell: I'm not a huge fan.

Do you know anyone who HAS thrown their own shower or b party? 2 of my friends threw their own e-party. They are also the only 2 people I know IRL that had e-parties. I don't know anybody who threw their own bach or shower.
