OTT Bags????

Do bags for out of town guest only go to the recommended hotels? What about guests who are staying with family? Should I do something for them?

Well if they don't only go to the recommended hotels, how will you know where everyone is staying? What you need to do is, call the hotels a couple days before, and they should be able to provide you a list of who booked through your block, and sometimes even a room number. So, you'll know exactly who is staying where.

I wouldn't say the ones staying with family will need a bag, they'll have easy access to snacks and recs for the area.

I think anyone coming from out of town would appreciate it. It doesn't matter where they happen to stay for their visit.

I think they're great for both people in hotels and for those staying with family.

So, first, remember - this is something you don't have to do. It's nice, but not somethng I've ever gotten as an OOT guest myself.

That said, we're doing them.

We're giving them to everyone, and we'll probably give them out at our welcome dinner (which we're doing instead of a RD b/c ours is a DW). Some ppl drive around when ppl are arriving and hand-deliver them.
