Wedding Woes

dh is oot

bad: it's all on me to do baby things.  i forgot his reflux meds last night.

good:  baby mo and i listened to doug e. fresh and mary j. blige on the drive in this morning.

when baby mo is old enough, he and i will go karaoking, and i will sing the chorus to "hollywood swinging", baby mo will sing the main tracks, and dh will sit in the corner and be amazed/horrified.

I give you a lot of credit for taking care of Baby Mo all by yourself.

I will be doing that for the first time next week for 2 nights. Not happy, but I need to figure it out.

I'm also looking forward to catching the YouTube version of that karaoke duet.

thanks -- we have a schedule, and it helps to know what comes next without worrying that you are forgetting something.  dh normally dispenses the meds, which is why i forgot.

    how long is he gone?

DK was OOT for Wolveine's first week of daycare/my first week back at work. it was hell trying to adjust to that new schedule on my own. he had to take a 3 day trip a few weeks later, and having the established routine was a big help.

    good luck!

also, this would be a good time to expose him to hoarders and all of the TLC shows, if you haven't already.

I actually find it easier to care for The Bud when H is OOT. Even with a schedule and routine he manages to get in the way/not do something.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

Wisdom from someone who has BTDT, it gets easier when you aren't doing everything on one leg b/c the other one is constantly trying to kick in the face of your partner.  Two feet parenting is where it's at.

We're not. But it's damn close and while we're trying to work things out together I'm also keeping my options open and already have a place for me and DD to stay if it comes to it.
