By request, pictures of the dresses!!!
My dad hasn't emailed me the pics from the day yet off my mom's camera, so all I've got is stock David's Bridal photos for y'all.
I have a matron of honor and four bridesmaids, ranging from age 26 to age 11, all with different bodies and tastes, so I left the dresses up to them...any dress they wanted, so long as it was navy (marine, according to DB), preferably something they could wear again. Here's what they decided on:

Sarah - 12 year old cousin & bridesmaid. It was literally like the dress was made for her. More than a tiny bit jealous at how Audrey Hepburn-adorable this dress made her tiny little size 2 waist look.

Erin C - 14 year old cousin and bridesmaid. The beading on the bodice and the bubble skirt looked adorable on her - very cute and age appropriate, without looking like a little girl playing dress up. This will have spaghetti straps for the actual wedding, and she's planning on wearing it to her freshman homecoming that fall.

Jen - grad school buddy, one of my closest girlfriends, and bridesmaid. Dress was super comfy and very Florida weather friendly, and moved great.

Nicole - cousin/"adopted sister"/best friend and matron of honor. She's getting married six months before me, so it was fun to try on wedding dresses AND bridesmaid dresses for each other's weddings at the same time.
This dress was super cute, and she could easily have it shortened to a party dress if she wanted afterwards.
The only BM left is my friend Erin (college roomie, one of my closest GFs), but I'm hoping to wait until I can get to SC or she can get to FL so we can go shopping together. I remember shopping for dresses with her for her wedding, it was so much fun...I don't want to miss out on that with her!
As for me...I swore up and down that I would never get a dress that a) was strapless (I normally hate strapless anything on me...too much pale Irish skin up top), b) had lace on it (just not my cup of tea), or c) came with a veil. I tried on every v-neck and halter dress in the joint, then tried on a dress Nicole had pulled out for me...and it was most definitely IT.

Dress Front - it has a split lace overlay, and the top has lace scallop edging all around....and what curves I have look ridiculous in it (always a good thing, lol).

Dress Back - the train on this puppy is so ridiculously gorgeous, I actually teared up when I saw it.

Veil (minus tiara) - it has beaded scallop edging that matches the dress. Haven't decided if I'm wearing it at the top of the head, or underneath my hair...figure I've got plenty of time for that.
Well ladies, what do you think?
