I just took a cruise over to the local, and the post about honeymoon hotels has 10 responses and only 1 is actually labeled "cen cal".  The rest are all over the place. 

Our hometown is awesome :)

    All I know is that my friends who still live there don't claim to love it. lol, I feel like it's those who leave that love it.

    It definitely is those who leave.  I guess it's the "you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone" theory.  I get tired of whiney "I hate this place"  the "there is nothing to do here" and the "this place blows" mentality.  Come visit my town of 150 people, and then tell me there is nothing to do.
